In Photos: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Engaged!

So, I’ve woken up to the news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing their engagement and it makes me incredibly happy! No really, it’s giving me all the feels right now. The couple met about two years ago when they were introduced by a mutual friend. They barely knew anything about each other – Meghan didn’t follow British politics, let alone British royalty; and Prince Harry hadn’t watched Suits before. They hit it off, and the rest, as we now know, will be history!

The two announced the engagement last evening and here’s what’s really special about it – the ring. Prince Harry designed it himself and it has three glittering diamonds – a central stone from Botswana and two other stones which are from the collection of his mother – Princess Diana. How incredibly sweet is that?
