Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are the one of the cutest people we know who are madly in love with each other. They look incredibly good together and it’s heartening to see their social media PDA even after 4 years of being married.
And must I add, they are a crazy fun duo to hang out with!
So how did these two meet and found their happily ever after? Read on!
Jab they met!
Ravi and Sargun played an onscreen couple in Zee TV’s 12/24 Karol Bagh. While Sargun was a part of the show since the beginning, Ravi joined the show later. Let’s just say when she saw his look test, she wasn’t really impressed. However, that perspective changed soon enough when she met him in person and found him to be cute. Ravi, on the other hand, found her to be lively and vibrant.
The rest, as we all know is history as they got attracted to each other and realised they are similar in more ways than one.
The romance chapter
Believe it or not, Ravi and Sargun did not realise when they slipped into the dating phase from merely being co-stars. One fine day it dawned on to them that they were more than friends and five months later Sargun officially announced it.
BUT, that does not mean there was no magical proposal! Ravi went down on one knee after one of their performances on Nach Baliye 5 and proposed to his lady on national TV. There was a solitaire ring, their close friends and family and the moment of a lifetime. What else does one need?!
It wasn’t easy though, as Ravi told an entertainment website that it was a tough task to execute. He said:
I decided all this in a very limited span of time. First I arranged for Sargun’s mom to come to Mumbai, who in turn convinced her dad to also come along. Then I put them in a hotel. Arranging for all this with Sargun being around me 24×7 for the rehearsals wasn’t easy as Sargun is extremely sharp. To pull it through was a task in itself.
Aww! That is awfully sweet.
Officially man & wife!
A dreamy love story ought to end in a dream wedding and Ravi-Sargun got nothing less than that. Their Mehendi funtions were scheduled for different days – Ravi’s mehendi was in Delhi on December 4, 2013 and Sargun’s was in Chandigarh on December 5, 2013. The former drove all the way from Delhi to meet his bae and see the happiness on her face.
Uff, these two really need to stop being such #CoupleGoals! They got engaged on December 6, tied the knot on December 7 and the festivities ended with a grand reception for their industry friends.
