Apparently, the cash increases if the contestants manage to grab eyeballs. While some of the ‘common’ peeps are playing the game for free, as it is a huge opportunity for them, the TV stars are surely paid handsomely for agreeing to do this show.
Here’s a list of the highest paid ones –
Hina Khan
The lead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tops the list with Rs 7-8 lac per week. It was decided during her stint in Colors’ other reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi that she’d be participating in Bigg Boss 11 too.
Hiten Tejwani
Television’s favourite ‘beta‘ is getting around 7-7.5 lac per week, but he’ll reportedly have to use his daily soap theatrics in the house soon to justify the money.
Shilpa Shinde
The former Bhabhiji from the popular show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai has been in the news for leaving the show, she’s also gotten sued by the makers. Even in the house, Shilpa is quite the entertainer and that is always a good thing in Bigg Boss. She gets around Rs 6-7 lac per week.
Vikas Gupta
Apart from being a successful content head and producer in the Indian television, Vikas too has been embroiled in enough drama regarding his personal life. Even in the show, Vikas manages to be in the news every week, justifying his weekly salary of Rs. 6-6.5 lac.
Priyank Sharma
Despite being a newbie, Priyank Sharma gets Rs. 4-5 lac per week in the show. His only claim to fame as of now is the reality show Splitsvilla, but BollywoodLife.com suggests Vikas Gupta helped him negotiate to get this fee. Priyank is rumoured to make a re-entry into the house.
