How Day 3 Of AIFW SS18 Stepped Up Its Game

We’re already on fashion week high and Day 3 only made it better. From inspiring silhouettes to fabrics that we’d live in forever, the collections on Day 3 of Amazon India Fashion Week SS18 have become a few of our faves. The pastel colour palette dominated this day, while the classic blacks and whites ended the day with a bang.

Here’s a roundup of how Day 3 went down!

1. Archana Rao

Archana Rao brought a fairytale feel on the runway with her SS18 collection. Inspired by a poem by George MacDonald called The Girl Who Lost Things, the designer translated his work into these outfits that were magical, to say the least.

2. MunkeeSeeMunkeeDoo

Clothes in a neutral palette of white, navy as well as khaki took over the runway. Accents of red and sky blue brought the right contrast to the rest of the line. The MunkeeSeeMunkeeDoo ladies showed us that fashion can be comfortable, stylish and light at the same time.

3. Three By Pallavi Dhyani

We can see this collection soon becoming our go-to work wear. The trench-jackets, button-down dresses and easy-fitted blazers in muted tones were a few of our favorites.

4. Anomaly

Stripes on stripes and monotone in handloom, Anomaly’s collection was a wear it anywhere anytime kind of line. The piping and topstitched pieces put together with tote bags complemented the collection beautifully.

5. Guapa

Thinking of holidaying in Goa, Maldives or the Bahamas? Then Guapa’s SS18 collection is your new best friend. From easy-breezy dresses to spunky bombers and more, Guapa’s line was complete colour bomb of fun.

6. Verb by Pallavi Singhee

The runway was buzzing with boho at Pallavi Singhee’s Flower Child collection. These pieces merged together the elements of desi, hippie and sexy together to create a stunning collection.

7. Pinnacle by Shruti Sancheti

The pastels at Pinnacle by Shruti Sancheti had us swooning and how! Tones of vintage rose, ripen peach, marshmallow pink, salmon, blush and more were the core focus in creating romantic designs.

8.Prama by Pratima

The collection, Leela presented an array of outfits made in chanderi silk and khadi with intricate embroidery, dabka as well as ari work. We love how the same fabrics looked just as gorgeous in a jumpsuit a saree and a kurta as well.

9. Payal Pratap

Whether it was a drop-waisted dress or striped co-ordinates, all of Payal Pratap’s clothes featured the cutest plant and floral embroideries on ’em. If you’re a lover of all things flora, then this collection will soothe your soul.

10. Abraham & Thakore

Two words – Monochrome Magic! Abraham & Thakore stuck to this basic colour palette and created a range of outfits that we need in our wardrobe, stat!
