Vidya Balan is bold, gutsy, incredibly beautiful and is a bundle of talent. Right from her debut in Parineeta, she has been breaking stereotypes of what Bollywood heroines are expected to do, and has been pivotal in paving the way for filmmakers to come up with more women-centric content. From Dirty Picture to Kahaani – she has been unstoppable, and if the teaser of her upcoming film Tumhari Sulu is anything to go by, you know she’s ready to slay!
She recently appeared on No Filter Neha and spoke about her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, whose initials are also the same as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Neha asked her what it was like waking up to SRK every morning, and Vidya as always, had a witty answer.
Let me specify, those who are desperately waiting for a controversy around my name because it’s been a while… I wake up to a better-looking SRK. He is the most good looking guy on planet Earth. I’m glad I signed up for it.
Haha nicely done, Vidya! She also revealed some other quirks about herself – like she loves the smell of turpentine.
Wherever I smell paint or turpentine, I ask for people to get me a little bit of it and I keep inhaling it. And people have told me it’s an addiction and I’m like no it’s not an addiction.
This makes me feel so much better about myself because I’m obsessed with the smell of paint too!
