All the biggies from the fashion industry showcased their collection for Spring/ Summer 2018 at Milan Fashion Week. We were in awe with the awesome presentation and even that’s an understatement. The big names have planned a glam-packed next season and we can’t wait to try out the new trends. Check out over favourite collections from Milan:
1. Gucci
Gucci proved that more is more. Whether it was the different hues, the layers or statement accessories, the collection emphasized on the OTT of the ’80s glam.
2. Alberta Ferretti
Alberta Ferretti decided to keep it simple, but not so simple. The silhouettes had an effortlessness to them bringing out the ease of summer, but the shimmer glammed up the show.
3. Fendi
Classic prints like the checks and stripes were given a new life at Fendi. Karl Lagerfeld brilliantly mixed and matched the prints and of course, the accessories were the highlight. The bags have new statement handles that we loved.
4. Prada
Prada brought the comics live on the runway via prints and bright colours. The silhouettes were very streetwear friendly but still were updated ones.
5. Moschino
Moschino had floral power in full bloom and hence it looked more like a couture collection. But it was quite magical to see this interpretation of the flowers.
6. Tods
Tods had very travel-friendly silhouettes in the lineup. But the sleek structured #TodsSellaBag definitely was the highlight.
7. Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani‘s collection had everything a modern woman would want in her wardrobe. The silhouettes were simple, but because of the use of different textiles, they had a new appeal to them.
8. Roberto Cavalli
If summer safari is on your mind and you wish to bend in with nature, then Roberto Cavalli‘s showcase is your best bet. With movement-friendly, awesome silhouettes taking over the runway we couldn’t pick our favourite.
9. Versace
Donatella Versace shut it down at the Milan Fashion Week with the ’90s super walking down the runway! The collection was a tribute to her brother and his iconic collections.
10. Missoni
The free-spirited girl just got a glam makeover at Missoni. The clash of prints was psychedelic yet done tastefully for the liking of anyone and everyone.
11. Salvatore Ferragamo
Salvatore Ferragamo had an effortlessly chic vibe going on that will appeal to any modern woman. The luxe collection had a major high point for us, which was the display of the various circular handle bags.
12. Marni
Oversized silhouettes, patches of prints juxtaposed together and pretty but loud colours took over Marni’s runway. The combination of all these made this collection a fun and vibrant lineup.
