After impressing the audience with her last directorial outing, Talwar (featuring Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen), Meghna Gulzar is currently busy working on her next venture, Raazi. This one stars Alia Bhatt alongside Vicky Kaushal and everyone’s awaiting to watch this unconventional duo. They are the perfect blend of commercial and offbeat cinema. Plus, both of them are extremely powerful performers. Naturally, it will be quite interesting to see them with each other on celluloid.
Alia plays a Kashmiri girl married to Vicky’s character, a Pakistani army officer, in this espionage thriller. They are super excited to be working together in this intriguing movie. After bagging the role in this major film, an ecstatic Vicky said:
I’m honored to be getting an opportunity to work with Meghana Gulzar and also looking forward to working with Alia, who I feel is one of the finest actresses we have at the moment. Actually, the entire team is so talented and especially to be working with Dharma Productions is rewarding for any young actor. I’ll soon wrap up Raju Sir’s Film and will begin Shooting for Raazi.
