When we think sarees, our minds immediately go to floral prints and silk weaves. But off-late, the saree is being developed to incorporate contemporary elements like stripes, color-blocked patterns and more. Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently took to Instagram and showed us her take on the modern saree. Celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra picked a Swati Vijaivargie creation for Shilpa which had all the trappings of a modern nine-yard. The striped blouse paired with hand-printed elephants and floral accents is a combination that looked stunning on her!
What better accessory to pair with a saree than jhumkas? Bold earrings from Aquamarine Jewellery and an oxidized handcuff from Silver House played perfect muse to Shilpa Shetty Kundra‘s saree.
