The best part about the beginning of a new month is the plethora of magazine covers that fall into our laps! But Kangana Ranaut on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Bride September issue has risen above all the ones we’ve seen so far. The Queen actress channels her inner bohemian Maharani with some exquisite Sabyasachi Mukherjee styling. The cover is shot by photographer Tarun Khiwal; celebrity makeup artist Daniel Bauer and celebrity hairstylist Franco Vallelonga comprise of the dream team.
While the magnificent clothes are from Sabyasachi’s various collections, we also see some grand pieces from Sabyasachi’s Heritage Jewelry collection. Here’s a fashion breakdown of all the inside pictures from the magazine.
The Grand Maharani
The shot oozes with rebellious royalty as she poses strong in a hand-painted and hand-embroidered Sabyasachi anarkali. She’s wearing intricate Navratan necklace, an antique Mughal pendant and an eclectic jhumkas in turquoise, ruby, gold and pearl. A stunning Amritsari tikka brings all the regal vibes in full bloom.
Indianizing the classic black
In this shot, Kangana is all about some heavy duty desi accessorising! She dresses up her silk bodycon kurta with polki and emerald choker, antique borla, super-sized polki drop earrings and a signature nath. We’re spell bound by this look!
A Vision in Gold
She dons an exquisite Kanjeevaram sari from Sabyasachi’s Vasanthalaxmi collection with a textured silk blouse. The look further gains its opulence from the signature Arya choker in polki and 22 carat gold, Jadau studs and Amritsari tikka.
And finally, here’s the cover! *drum rolls*
