What a wonderful time it is for actors from outside the industry to be a part of Bollywood. Right from Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar to Zaira Wasim and Rajkummar Rao, these actors have all been making a mark for themselves with films backed by great content. Newcomer Arsalan Goni too seems to be next in line with his debut in Jia Aur Jai alongside Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out here.
Wondering who this good looking lad is? He hails from a family full of lawyers and high ranked government officials in Kashmir. While everyone in his family expected him to be an IAS or IPS officer, Arsalan had other dreams. He moved to Bombay a while ago in pursuit of his high school sweetheart, and though it didn’t end the way he had hoped it would, it gave him something new to fall in love with – the movies!
He decided to stay back and hone his skills with the hopes of someday making it to the silver screen, and look what happened. He ended up bagging Jia Aur Jia! While we await his debut, here are some really cute pictures of the new actor on the block. Check ’em out.
