Sushmita Sen has always been a powerful, outgoing, well spoken and an extremely gracious woman. It’s not surprising then that she won Miss Universe in 1994 and floored all the judges with her charm. She went on to break stereotypes when she adopted a baby girl Renee in 2000. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, back in 2000, it wasn’t the norm and was still considered socially unacceptable for an unmarried woman to adopt and raise a child on her own. But, being the fighter that she is, Sushmita fought all her battles and finally brought little Renee home.
She’s a doting mother who really loves spending time with her two children – Renee and Alisah. Take a look at her Instagram and you’ll know what I mean. 🙂 Alisah turned 8 less than a week ago and Sush took to Instagram to wish her.
Isn’t that adorable? Her older daughter Renee turned 18 yesterday, and just like any other parent, Sush was emotional about her daughter officially being an adult. Aww! Can you believe how time flies? She posted the cutest message for her.
