Mahakali actor Arjit Lavania lost his life in a horrific car accident last weekend while returning from his shoot. His co-star and the driver of the car, Gagan Kang and an unidentified spot boy died on the spot as well. Gagan’s funeral was held some days ago, and while actors posted their condolences on social media, Gagan’s former co-star Barkha Bisht Sengupta was angry that not many of them turned up during his last rites.
Arjit on the other hand, would have turned 30 today, 24th August had he been alive, and his parents had especially flown from Agra to Mumbai last week to celebrate his day. According to a report on Spotboye.com, Arjit’s cousin, Ankit Lavania said –
Arjit’s father Vijaykant Lavania and mother Kamlesh Lavania specially came down to Mumbai from Agra to celebrate Arjit’s birthday. They were staying in Vashi at their daughter and son-in-law’s house. On Aug 15, Arjit had an off day from the shoot, so, he decided to take his parents out for shopping. His father bought him a birthday gift and Arjit also shopped a lot for his parents. They all had lunch together, post which Arjit left for his shoot in Umergaon.
His parents were supposed to return to Agra on August 25th, after celebrating their son’s birthday. This is heartbreaking.
