Karan Johar has been embroiled in a bunch of controversies in the past but the one he will forever be remembered for – is the nepotism controversy! You know by now that it all started on his show Koffee With Karan when Kangana Ranaut accused him of it and it has been months since the episode aired, but all the news around it doesn’t seem to end. Unfortunately for him, he passed a bunch of unpleasant remarks at the recently held IIFA Awards too, which brought him a lot of flak!
Karan was in Melbourne last week for the Indian International Film Festival and he was of course asked about his take on the issue and all the brouhaha surrounding it. Guess what he said?
Right before I reached here, my mother called me and she said, I beg of you, do not use the word.
And then, he introduced us all to a new word – NEPOSPAMS!
Because anything I say for or against, is going to be held against me and I’m not about to be trolled all over again. I’ve made my mistakes of stretching this issue and talking about it, I’ve already apologised, I’ve expressed my regrets. And now I’m in a condition of nepospasm. I get a convulsion immediately. It’s called nepospasm – fear of the word nepotism.
Hahaha. I guess this will be the last time we hear Karan talk about nepotism. But if you must know – a whole load of other people in Bollywood gave their two cents on Bollywood. You can read it all below.
