It’s safe to say that Apurva Asrani is not really on good terms with Kangana Ranaut. They were embroiled in a bitter battle last month when Apurva accused Kangana for taking away the entire credit for writing the film, Simran.
Apurva dig out the topic again yesterday. As you all know, the major news this week was the nepotistic comments made by Karan Johar & Saif Ali Khan targeting Kangana. Apurva felt Kangana ended up gaining sympathy in the entire episode, when she herself practices nepotism.
He tweeted:
I hired my brother as addnl writer on my new film. #Kangana hired her sister as manager & now promotes her brother. All guilty of #nepotism?

Kangana’s siter Rangoli was irked by his comment and defended Kangana’s actions:
Drinking cofe n watching flms with your own little brthr is nt nepotism u emotionally illitrate persn.Thts cald Love .#sigh which u lack .

She also mentioned how Kangana supported her after the acid attack and helped her to regain confidence:
