You know you’re going to grab A LOT of attention when you’re Shah Rukh Khan‘s child. Aryan, Suhana and Abram are constantly photographed everywhere they go with their family – so much, that his kids have all got loyal fan clubs on social media too! A recent video of Suhana being hounded by the paparazzi went viral on the Internet, which is probably what prompted Rajeev Masand to ask SRK about how he feels when his kids get photographed. Here’s what he said on the CNN 18 show.
I think the kids started feeling awkward with all the paraphernalia. Every time I go out in a public place, I don’t take them with me. My wife doesn’t come, my children don’t come. I go to functions alone or post they have gone. Some adjustments have to be made – One of them was that I sent them abroad to study. Not because of the scrutiny, but because they were feeling a little awkward with all the attention they have.
He added,
I’m ok with them being photographed. I understand photographs to be taken, I’ve explained it to my kids also that listen, if photographers come, stand, do the picture & say it – please can I go now? And they’ll all listen to you. I’ve known them for 25 years. I really do believe you should deserve attention. You have to earn it. You have to do something for it. My kids also understand that just because you’re photographed doesn’t make you important. They know it. I think they’re quite mature about it.
Can’t say we don’t agree with SRK.
