Karan Johar and Kajol have had one the most popular and longest lasting friendships in Bollywood. The actress has delivered some of her biggest hits with him, while Karan often believed her to be his lucky mascot and would have her make a cameo in all of his films. But things turned sour when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clashed with her husband Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay at the theatres. There were accusations hurled and a lot of drama that unfolded.
At the launch of his book yesterday, he was asked about his relationship with her. To which he said,
I want to remember the history I shared with Kajol. Sometimes chapters end, books end, relationships end.
Now is when I want to use his own line from his movie – ‘But she’s your best friend ya!’ Sigh.
