It’s a sad day in the beauty world. The founder of the world famous makeup brand, Bobbi Brown is leaving the company. When the news hit I was in complete shock—complete! So many question; What? Why? When? What happens to the brand now? Will I never get to see those beautiful lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes ever again?
And if like me, you are an ardent Bobbi Brown lover, I’m sure these thoughts rummaged through your mind as well. But don’t be too upset, here’s all the scoop I have for you:
According to WWD.com the owner of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, the Estée Lauder Companies Inc., stated that Brown will be leaving the company by the end of the year (cue tears) and that the global brand president at the moment Peter Lichtenthal would continue to oversee the business (cue a sigh of relief).
We have no idea what’s next for the talented businesswoman yet, but we sure are glad it’s still in the beauty world.
