The weekend I’ve been waiting for is finally here #yay! T-2 days till I’m at Absolute Enchanted Valley Carnival 2016! Every year Nowshad and I pack our festival gear and camp out under the starry night to be as close as we can to 2 days of non-stop party. There’s always so much to look forward to at EVC – adventure sports, workshops, drum circles – besides of course, the many, many mind-blowing and exclusive performances!

Here’s 10 reasons why I absolutely cannot wait to go back to EVC this year!

1. Glamping at the Enchanted Village

The festival has it’s own fully fledged campsite, called the Enchanted Village, which offers an extravagant camping experience! Plus, staying right on the festival grounds is the only sure-fire way to make sure you catch every single festival beat. Here’s to #noFOMO!

2. Festival Fashion

Guys and girls in fluorescent tribal prints and feathers… Oh my! EVC’s always got the brightest festival fashion, so obviously… I can’t wait to #JoinTheTribe and get my freak on!

3. Dreamcatchers (and) Workshops

For a dreamer like me, what better way to spend the day than to learn how to make my very own dreamcatcher!

4. Back-to-back Bollywood at The Terra Stage!

This line-up is what any Bollywood fan’s dreams are made up of! I can’t wait to catch Farhan, Papon, Badshah, Rishi Rich, Dasu and Juggy D perform their hits live at EVC 2016!

5. Flo Rida On Day 1

This is going to be so cool just because I know I’m going to be singing along with Flo Rida the whole time! “The Club Can’t Even Handle Me” or “Low” or “Whistle Song”… Hope he’s got these tunes on his festival setlist!

6. Silent Parties

Right on! Silent parties can be so surreal sometimes, it’s the one thing I love most about it.

7. That Unbeatable Adrenaline Rush

One of the things that sets EVC apart from other music festivals is that they’ve got enough going on to keep the adrenaline junkies busy. Nothing like kicking the day off with a blood pumping (and professionally handled!) session of off-road dirt biking or…. A good ol’ traditional bungee jump! This year they’ve added a whole new sports section to the village. So whether it’s volleyball, table tennis, foosball or pool, you know you’ll have plenty to help you work off those extra calories you might’ve put on last night.

8. Alan Walker on Day 2

Alan Walker is ruling the International Charts right now! His track “Faded” is in our minds, on our radios, in our office, in the clubs… everywhere basically. This 18 year old (!) chart topper has played on the world’s biggest stages (read: Tomorrowland, Summerburst and Lollapalooza) this past year and is coolly closing out his crazy tour and the festival on Day 2 at The Cosmos Stage. 9. Arijit Singh on Day 2!

Arijit Singh is, without a doubt, one of Bollywood’s most soulful playback singers. And to get the chance to this talented guy close out the Terra Stage, with a 2.5 hour performance, that too with a 35 piece live orchestra, is a BIG deal!

10. Pois, Bonfires And After Parties

The end of a festival is always a big bummer to deal with. Not at EVC though! For anyone who’s up for it (and I am.. Always!) the party continues around the Enchanted Village bonfire. Drum circles and poi performers (poi-ers?) liven up the mood. There’s also the official after party at The Pyro Stage to help the EVC #tribe deal with the comedown.

#EVC2016 is going to be all kinds of #lit and this year with all these cool additions to the festival – a foot spa, tarot card reading, table tennis, foosball, a pool table and volleyball – my excitement is hitting peak levels! Weekend come soon!
