A couple of days ago, we reported the death of Kannada actor Uday Raghav and a stunt-man, Anil while filming a deadly stunt for the movie Masti Gudi at Tippagondanahalli lake near Bengaluru. After almost 49 hours of searching for the body, the search party found Uday’s body.
According to a report in TOI, around 3.10 pm on Wednesday, 20 feet from where they had jumped into the water from a helicopter, DIG (fire) HS Revanna noticed what seemed to be a floating body. The postmortem reportedly revealed that Uday sustained injuries on the face and lower jaw. The report also quoted the police stating the doctor’s observations that:
It was an unprofessional jump, and he landed on his face. His lower jaw was pushed upwards, and his eyeballs were damaged because of the impact.
Anil’s body is still missing. The incident was unfortunate and our prayers and wishes are with the bereaved families.
