I have to admit this, I fell in love with Rana Daggubati when I first saw him crooning Te Amo in Dum Maaro Dum. Rana > All childhood crushes. Years later, seeing him in a negative character as Bhallala Dev in Bahubali: The Beginning reinstated the feels I already had for him. #CrazyStupidLove
Buuuut then I saw his beefed up look for the much-awaited sequel and hell broke loose because JUST. LOOK. AT. THAT. BODY. Rana has made commendable changes to play the younger version of Bhallala Dev in Bahubali: The Conclusion and not only does he look menacing and fierce, but also gives a new edge to his character.
Presenting the new Rana Daggubati to you:
About the new look, Rana said:
I’ve been shuttling between cardio and weight training. The older Bhallala is stronger and more beefy so I weighed around 108 110 kg for those portions of both the films while his younger version is strong too, but leaner so I lost a few kilos for that. My weight has dropped to 92-93 kgs. I eat every two-and-a-half hours and there’s a nutritionist present around the clock. He conducts regular check-ups to ensure that we are on the right track.
The film will hit the theatres in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on April 28, 2017.
Are you as floored as I am?
