Come October and the tenth season of Bigg Boss will be here. It’s been ten seasons, can you imagine? Each season is double the drama, double the romance and triple the fun! While we wait for the most awaited TV show to hit the small screen, why not take a trip down memory lane? Staying in the Bigg Boss house is a herculean task – that’s already been established yet, every season a contestant battles all the odds and emerges victorious. The show has been a claim to fame for most of its winners and while some have disappeared after the show, some are doing particularly well for themselves.
Season 1: Rahul Roy
Rahul Roy rose to fame twice – once with Aashiqui and next as the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss that was hosted by Arshad Warsi. Rahul’s like that cricketer who hits two sixes and just when you think its going well, he gets out. After Bigg Boss, Rahul set up his own production house and produced a Bhojpuri film. Apparently, the most recent update about the actor was about him doing C grade adult films. In 2014, reports cropped up about the actor returning to acting with a film tentatively titled To Be or Not To Be. Hmmm.
Season 2: Ashutosh Kaushik
Ashutosh Kaushik entered the Bigg Boss house as a Roadies winner. The small towner defeated the likes of Rahul Mahajan and Raja Chaudhary. A winner of two reality shows of high repute definitely is out to conquer and make his mark, right? Wrong. Ashutosh was unheard of after his Bigg Boss win, barring a small role in Sanjay Dutt starrer Zila Ghaziabad.
Season 3: Vindu Dara Singh
For someone who was known only as wrestler Dara Singh‘s son, Bigg Boss definitely catapulted Vindu Dara Singh to fame. But sadly, the Bigg Boss win did not do much for him apart from getting him some tiny roles in Bollywood. He was last seen as a guest on Comedy Nights Bachao and also took part as a wild card entrant with his wife on reality show, Power Couple. He was also in the news for allegedly being involved in the spot fixing scam during the Indian Premier League.
Season 4: Shweta Tiwari
Shweta Tiwari was the first lady to win the show. Earlier popular for her role as Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Shweta now has many TV shows attached to her name. She is a proud mother to daughter Palak Tiwari and is expecting another child with husband Abhinav Kohli, very soon. Currently, she’s busy flaunting her uber cute baby bump!
Season 5: Juhi Parmar
Juhi Parmar followed suit and was the second lady to win the show. We hear that she is all set to hit the small screen with a mythological series titled Shani, on Colors. She was last seen as a recurring cast member in Santoshi Maa on & TV.
Season 6: Urvashi Dholakia
After winning the sixth season of the show, Urvashi Dholakia was last seen in SAB TV’s Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai. Currently, she is busy doting on her twin sons and sharing selfies with them! Don’t you wish to see more of her?
Season 7: Gauahar Khan
After winning Bigg Boss, Gauahar Khan continued her relationship from the show with Kushal Tandon. After a bitter break up, reports suggest that they may be back together! She also made a special appearance on Bigg Boss 8. On the professional front, Gauahar hosted reality show Raw Star and participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi. She was also cast alongside Rajeev Khandelwal in Fever, a 2016 thriller and will be seen swaying on a special number for an upcoming film, Fuddu.
Season 8: Gautam Gulati
Bigg Boss has done wonders for Gautam Gulati. In no time, he was offered a major role in Emraan Hashmi starrer Azhar and India’s Top Model as a guest judge. Turns out, he’s pretty serious about his acting career and wants to do more films. Well, we want to see more of you!
Season 9: Prince Narula
Prince Narula is currently in the news for his alleged relationship with Yuvika Chaudhary. He made his acting debut with & TV’s new show Badho Bahu.
