When the first song promo and the trailer of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil came out, no one could stop talking about the film. Ranbir Kapoor‘s chemistry with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his camaraderie with Anushka Sharma, the soulful music by Pritam, the intriguing plot and much more – a LOT about this Karan Johar offering got us excited. The film was all set to hit the theatres on 28th October and everyone was waiting for this release with bated breath.
But as we all know, due to an unfortunate series of events, the involvement of Pakistani artists in Indian cinema and television has been barred. And it’s absolutely heartbreaking that because of Fawad Khan‘s presence in ADHM, the fate of Karan’s upcoming movie now seems shaky. A lot of single screen theatres have refused to screen the film due to the pressure from several political bodies. After staying tight-lipped about the entire issue all this while, Karan has finally released a statement. Here’s what he has to say:
More power to you, Karan.
