Day 3 Of AIFW Was The Perfect Ode To SS17!

Day 3 of Amazon India Fashion Week was literally everything we wanted to see. From vibrant colours to dominating prints, from heavy embroidery to sheer detailing and even futuristic metallics. Every show had something distant and lovely to offer. The fashion babies that we are, we loved some or the other element from each show and made our wish list for Christmas as every model struck a pose on the head ramp (universe are you listening?). So without further adieu, here’s every designer’s collection from day – 3 and why we loved the show!

1. Huemn

Huemn’s show was a complete mix of all that we could ask from the opening show of day – 3. Sheer paneled shirts, androgynous pastel pantsuits and bomber jackets were slaying the collection.

2. Ikai by Ragini Ahuja

Ikai by Ragini Ahuja AIFWSS17

We really enjoyed seeing Ragini Ahuja experiment with some out of the box prints and unique structure. The off-shoulder kurta and the side double striped pants were our favourite pieces from the show.

3. Ilk

Ilk AIFWSS17

The collection saw some beautiful use of sheer working some airy silhouettes. Even the colour palette introduced some fresh hues to the spring summer mood.

4. Ashima Leena

Ashima Leena‘s collection showed a beautiful take on spring summer. With gorgeous mustards and faded burgundy/plum hues the show was truly blissful with unique and intricate work.

5. Rabani Rakha

Rabani Rakha‘s collection was like music to our ears. With fabulous drapes in sheer fabric and warm nude tones, we kept on marking every outfit to our wish list.

6. Siddartha Tytler

From exquisite embroidery to intricate applique work, Siddartha Tytler’s collection was art. Having wearable pieces for both men and women, the show won our hearts for having desi vibes with a modern twist.

7. Anupamaa Dayal

This is one collection that was love at first colour! From big prints to vibrant colour play, the show transported us to a beach vacation and we loved every bit of it!

8. Kavita Bhartia

Tisca Chopra for Kavita Bhartia AIFWSS17

The show was based predominantly on white. Intricate embroidery and lace detailing were few of the key elements that build this collection’s aesthetic. Also, Tisca Chopra looked oh-so-graceful in a sari, closing for Kavita Bhartia.

9. Sanchita

Sachita‘s collection was truck loads of colour blended with some cool embroidery. The collection was filled with warm toned clothes that would be just the calling a pretty summer’s day.

10. Gauri & Nainika

Gauri & Nainika opted for some rager ruffles to add all kinds of magic to their show. The collection saw a good use solid colour and intriguing silhouettes.

11. Malani Ramani

From boho prints and uber cool silhouettes, Malani Ramani‘s collection saw everything! Wide stripes and hoodies got us even more excited as you all know our love for hoodies goes a long way.

10. Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna

Metallic detailing was taken to another level with not just shiny clothes but even silver glitter lips. Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna‘s collection was fabulous & futuristic. Just the perfect end to a power packed day – 3!
