Day 1 of The FDCI presents Amazon India Fashion Week SS ’17 was amazing but Day 2 was even better, if you can believe it. More variety in aesthetic, designs and trends were showcased all day. Shruti Sancheti, Urvashi Kaur, Payal Pratap, Anavila Misra, and Abraham & Thakore were some of our personal favourites on Day 2. But Rajesh Pratap Singh stole the show, we think. Having seen the simplicity and complexity he maintains in his designs, makes me fall in love over and over again.
Take a look at some of our favourites from day 2!
1.Virtues By Viral, Ashish & Vikrant
This show unravelled their love for handloom. It was a womenswear show that mainly featured designs created in an organic fabric called Kotpad that originated in Odisha. Sona Mohapatra walked the ramp while singing songs to her favourite tunes. It was a show worth watching!

2. Pinnacle By Shruti Sancheti
This collection was a contemporary interpretation of appliqued fabric, prints and folk influences in terms of details. Why Shruti Sancheti‘s collection was called the “Folk Flair” was because it infused elements from the handicraft community with a twist of modernity in the collection.
