Earlier, we had heard that Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover had agreed to do MTV’s reality show, Love School – something that would’ve been very exciting for fans, we bet. Unfortunately, reports began cropping up recently that the two opted out of the show due to disagreements regarding the contract. However, official sources clarify it’s because the channel didn’t have the budget, as every show has allocated funds.
A source tells us:
The newlyweds were first asked to host the show and later approached to host a few episodes on the show but due to certain budget constraints the association couldn’t move forward. Both Bipasha and Karan loved the concept of the show and share a great equation with the channel. The fact that the association didn’t come through did not make things bitter between the couple and the channel and they wish them all the luck for the coming season of the show.
Well, here’s hoping there’s a next project we’ll see them together on!
