The monsoons call for scents that are fresh, nature-inspired and light, unlike the heady aromas you might otherwise prefer. We wanted to bring you a short list of our new and old fresh fragrances to add to your perfume wardrobe.
1. Daisy Marc Jacobs
This fresh and feminine fragrance has notes of grapefruit mixed with floral notes of jasmine, violet and gardenia topped off with woody notes of white woods, vanilla and musk. Also, get a load of that bottle; collector’s item much?
2. Issey Miyake Pure
This classic perfume has seen many avatars over the years, but this latest edition, Issey Miyake Pure launched in the Spring of this year is reminiscent of waterfalls and forests featuring orange blossoms, jasmine and lily floral notes. It’ pure water on your skin.
3. Narciso Rodriguez for her
This light and fresh perfume is a must have in my opinion. A mix of floral notes, amber with a heart of musk, this perfume is subtle and perfect.
4. Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir
This scent from Guerlain is femininity at its best. Although it has some woody notes of sandalwood at its core, it also has notes of vanilla, bergamot, Bulgarian rose and blueberry!
5. DKNY Be Delicious
DKNY Be Delicious was launched in 2004 but is still a favourite of many women because of its fresh, citrusy appeal.
