Ae Dil Hai Mushkil features four of the most popular Bollywood stars – Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan – but what’s the most interesting thing about it is that it marks the return of Karan Johar to the director’s chair. For those of us who’ve grown up on a steady diet of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham every Sunday, this really is a big deal. And the first teaser of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which is now out, promises an emotional ride – the kind of which Karan Johar is an expert at taking us on.

I love that the teaser doesn’t say much (literally – there are only about three lines towards the end) and yet manages to create such an impact. A lot of the credit for that goes to the haunting title track.
I don’t even know what I expected from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, but the teaser is definitely more intense than I thought it would be. Looking forward to seeing how this shapes up for sure! What are your thoughts?
