Rustom is based on the landmark K. M. Nanavati v. State of Maharashtra case where a Naval officer confessed to killing his wife’s lover. This matter changed the landscape of legal India and abolished the jury system. It was the first ‘media trial’ of the country and bringing this complicated story to screen is definitely intriguing.
2) Akshay Kumar in a uniform
He looks so good! Plus with that mustache, I won’t be surprised if he plays Rhett Butler in the Indian adaptation of Gone With The Wind.
