Dia Mirza spoke at the Insight Storm conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) where she wore a look from Anavila ‘s AW-16 collection. Stylist Theia Tekchandaney accessorised this earthy outfit designed by Anavila Misra with a statement necklace and earrings from Amrapali Jewels. I love the combination of green and brown and the fact that it’s a very indie look but the outfit itself is a long sleeved top worn under a sleeveless dress. The desi vibe comes from the fact that Theia used ethnic jewellery and cool brogue juttis from Fizzy Goblet.
Dia’s hairstylist Shobha Kewal styled her fiery hair in an beachy braid that went perfectly with the look, as does the slight smokey eye, and soft pink lip makeup look. We love the fact that a normal western outfit can be accessorised in such a way that it gives the look a very Indian appeal with the jewellery and the fusion between juttis and brogues in an ikat print.
Amazing right? It’s like the best of both worlds. Comment and tell us what you think of Dia’s fusion look!
