Payal Khandwala has a very unique aesthetic when it comes to style. So much so, that you can spot her designs anywhere once you start recognising her particular vibe. Her unconventional cuts and colour combinations are absolutely off the hook and I love each and every one them. Last night at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2016, we spotted this artist-turned-fashion designer dressed head-to-toe in one of her own creations. She layered a white, long shirt kurta over a blue brocade straight-cut trousers. My love for her designs comes from the fact that literally every piece she designs is constructed very distinctively.
Also, her colour combinations are very inimitable and at the same time blend into one outfit perfectly. She styled this look with a big chunky silver necklace and kept her nose studded with two pins on either side and chose a smokey eye and matte brown colour for her lips. Silver, strappy heels and a contrasting bright yellow bag from her accessory brand Tachi completed her look. She wore this look with an inherent sense of ease and confidence, which is something we admire her for.
I’m absolutely loving the artsy vibe she’s sporting. Let me know what you guys feel about this look by commenting below.
