If there’s one thing the monsoon calls for – other than chai and pakodas, of course – it’s good music. We update our monsoon playlist at the office every year, but this time around we thought we’d do it a little differently and ask one of our favourite musicians, Sonu Nigam, to share a list of the songs he loves listening to when it’s pouring out. A lot of classics are on there, as well as some songs sung by him – and we love them all! Take a look:
Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho – Hanste Zakhm (1973)
Chal Kahin Door Nikal Jaayein – Doosra Aadmi (1977)
Chup Chup Ke – Bunty Aur Bubli (2005)
Dil Dhoondhta Hai Phir Wohi Fursat Ke – Mausam (1975)
Teri Aankhon Ke Siva – Chirag (1969)
Khuda Jaane – Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008)
Aisa Sama Na Hota – Aasmaan (1984)
Suraj Hua Madham – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)
Mujhe Raat Din Bas – Sangharsh (1999)
Ab Mujhe Raat Din – Deewana (2003)
Listening on loop!
