Earlier this year, Karan Johar confirmed that he’ll be doing a new season of Koffee With Karan as soon as he has completed his projects. Obviously, we couldn’t contain our joy, and because we’re mankind’s angels, here’s a list of pairs we REALLY want Karan to interview. Check it out!
1) Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan
They’re appearing in each other’s shows, promoting each other’s movies, cycling together on the roads of Bandra, might as well break the Internet and appear together on the most popular chat show in the country.
2) Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone (Sanjay Leela Bhansali joins them later)
Ranveer Singh might just spend the entire episode looking at Deepika Padukone talk, that’s why we suggest their cupid Sanjay Leela Bhansali to appear in the last segment.
3) Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma has always been a fun and frank person to interview plus Virat Kohli is known to be brashy and boisterous. Can’t wait to see their rapid fire round!
4) Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Kiran Rao
I can already imagine such fun, insightful, hilarious and intelligent banter in the show, my God!
5) Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput
ONLY TO FINALLY HEAR MIRA KAPOOR’S VOICE!
6) Ranbir Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor
Two hot boys, who are such good friends, talking about the cool things they do.
7) Aishwarya and Amitabh (Jaya and AB jr can join them later)
They’re both so articulate, diplomatic and interesting to talk to. The episode will be so warm and loving, and then Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan can turn it around with their wit and frankness. Amazing!
8) Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut
Who wouldn’t want to hear such smart, intelligent, badass and self-made women talk?
9) Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor
This episode will hands down be the most fun episode of the entire season.
10) Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel
Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai <3, plus Karan needs to ask Ameesha Patel why she retweets men who find her armpits sexy?
11) Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra
I really think people apart from Rani, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan need to know what Aditya Chopra sounds like.
12) Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan (special appearance by Akshaye Khanna)
Kyunki mera Dil Chahta Hai. Okay? OKAY?
13) Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar
Basically my ’90’s dreams will come true if these two sit on the couch and talk their hearts out.
14) Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiquee
They’re still the best on-screen couple of 2016 for me, they need to be interviewed together.
15) Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor
Such stunning, well-read and smart women. Plus they get along so well! An outspoken Sonam will compliment a shy Katrina rather well.
16) Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan
If their smoking up scene in Kapoor & Sons is anything to go by, then I know Fawad and Sidharth will make great guests on a fun show like this. Just add something else to the coffee.
17) Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra
Industry kids who are great fun and have no qualms in discussing the best whiskey on Twitter. Perfect ingredients for an amazing hour.
18) Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover
Because a couple as deliriously in love with each other like these two need a platform like Koffee With Karan to discuss their pyaar (and maybe their sex life).
19) Farah Khan and Sushmita Sen
a) Because they’ve been friends for a very very long time – when Farah was choreographing Sushmita in Mehboob Mere, she promised Sush that she’ll cast her in her debut movie and she totally did.
b) Because there’s so much scope for a no-holds barred chat, due to the fact that they’re both famously frank.
20) Emraan Hashmi and Nargis Fakhri
Emraan and Nargis were by far the funniest guests in their individual episodes. Imagine the laughter fest the episode will be if both their powers are combined.
21) Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor
Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Kapoor are blessed with a very subtle and very sharp sense of humour. Add Anil Kapoor‘s manic energy and you have a magical episode.
22) Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor
Parineeti and Shraddha are two fun-loving girls in this dark, dark world. It’ll be nice to see some sunshine around. Right?
23) AIB
Because the AIB Roast is the funniest thing I’ve seen in the Indian Comedy space and humour of all kinds should be encouraged. Plus they have a personal equation with Karan which will be even more interesting to watch.
24) Rishi Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna
Take the funniest Bollywood personalities from Twitter and air this episode at a later hour than prime time and let them loose. This episode can be the finale as the best should be kept for the last.
