Father’s day is just around are the corner and Native Films has dished out this really heartwarming short film, Vanvaas, that is apt for this occasion. It beautifully captures the complicated equation between a father and his grown-up son. Ace actor Piyush Mishra plays Prabal Panjabi‘s stern dad while Ayesha Raza (Ila masi from Permanent Roommates) plays a typical Indian mom.
Prabal, who has already impressed everyone with his fun acts in Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge and Mere Dad Ki Maruti, delivers an impactful performance. The rapport between that the father-son duo here is rather relatable and real. Watch:
