Sonam Kapoor‘s second red carpet appearance at Festival De Cannes 2016 was one notch above her first, if that’s possible. Though she opted for another white Ralph & Russo gown that also featured a long train, this one caught my fancy much more than the first. This is saying a lot since I actually really liked the sari-inspired gown. The interesting feather-like detail on the cape-like train really made an impression. In terms of jewellery, Rhea Kapoor paired Bulgari with the gown this time around.
Namrata Soni and Stephane Lancien got really creative with her beauty look. She was given a slim eyeliner and pink eyeshadow with a gold sheen and a matching pink lipstick, while her hair was pulled back in a sleek bun! Now that I think about it, this also might be my favourite look in terms of beauty, I have to say.
Next, she switched from this all-white number to the opposite end of the colour spectrum, opting for an all-black Ralph & Russo gown, for the Chopard party that she paired with Chopard jewellery (duh!)
Namrata kept Sonam’s hair pulled back neatly, but switched out her lip colour for a classic red lip. This colour obviously contrasted with the black gown perfectly, as did the jewellery in fact! The sharp, defined middle-parted hair added a bit more drama to the look.
Sonam, as usual has given us big fashion goals to aspire to, on the off chance that we could possibly have a red carpet moment ourselves! (That’s the dream!)
