Who knew that we would be hooked on to an American TV show starring our favourite desi girl? Quantico is back, and with it comes Priyanka Chopra who plays the intense and conflicted Alex Parrish. Even though we love the dramatic twists and turns that occur every week, we also watch the show to get a glimpse of the actress’ makeup.
Since Priyanka is essaying the role of an FBI agent, she’s usually seen sporting natural-looking makeup and defined brows. However, it’s her pout that always looks impeccable. Lucky for us, her makeup artist, Stephanie Brooke Barnes spilled the beans on how to create the same look that Priyanka sported in a recent episode.
To imitate those lush lips, Stephanie first creates a base using Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Rouge Lipstick in ‘#13 Purple’ . She then tops it up with NARS’ creamy Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in ‘Red Square’. The result? A soft, yet sultry shade that complement Priyanka’s skin tone beautifully.
Tips like these make us realise the hidden worth of our lipstick stash. By mixing two (or three) unexpected shades, you can create a hue customised to suit your skin. This method can also be a boon when you’ve made a beauty error and bought an unflattering shade. Just mix it with a darker or lighter product to make it look great!
