Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor are collaborating on a superhero movie which will be released in three parts over a period of 10 years. And now according to a report on Mumbai Mirror, Ayan is apparently inspired by the foul-mouthed anti-hero who has been breaking records at the box-office, Deadpool. Yep, Ayan watched the uncensored version of the Ryan Reynolds movie at a private screening organised by the filmmakers. Here’s what the source close to the publication has to say about this –
Ayan had put in a request a week ago for a private screening of the uncut version. He has been scripting his own superhero film and was keen to watch Deadpool. The 32-year-old filmmaker is fashioning Ranbir’s character after a dark anti-hero plagued by his emotions and a growing disdain for things around him, much like Deadpool. The character’s dialogues are wicked and naughty. But Ayan’s story won’t follow a crusader trying to change the world.
Deadpool isn’t trying to change the world either, you guys. But it will be interesting to see an Indian superhero as crazy as this guy.
