Contouring was a major beauty trend in 2015 and continues to hold the rank even in 2016. What contouring basically does is, defines ones features giving the appearance of higher cheekbones, a slimmer nose and a narrow forehead. From luxury to drugstore brands, everyone’s creating products and palettes for the ultimate contoured face. Makeup artists, celebrities, even my younger sister has had a go at this new age way to “sculpt” your face. (However, her efforts were in vain).
While the trend has been quite huge, YouTube’s been even bigger. Bigger in the sense that many artists have come up with new and unique ways to contour a face. If like me, you’re a huge fan of hacks but found many YouTube tutorials too complicated, then you HAVE to check out this 15 second Instagram video. It’s just the thing if you want to skip the difficult steps of contouring (that could take a little bit longer) and get you looking like a sculpted Goddess!
In the video, Huda Beauty applies cello tape to her cheekbones, along her jawline, on the sides of her nose, and on her forehead to create a kind of outline for the contour. She then applies bronzer within the lines of the tape, removes it, adds concealer and blends, blends, blends! P.S – Check out how Huda achieves the perfect winged eye!
