The military trend is one of the strongest and most recognisable trends of all time (In fact, we even have it marked in our trend list of 2015). The key feature lies in details influenced by army uniforms and tones of olive green, camel and tan. Military themes or camouflage can be styled in different ways. We’ve short-listed our favourite inspirations to help you amp up the look!
Cues from the runway
We’ve seen army/military themes evolve on the ramp, and this year started with Craig Green bringing in the influence at his autumn winter 2016 show. From military green tones to army motifs and service uniform details, designers have twisted the trend and served it in a new bad-ass avatar!

A different direction
Break away from the old boring ways to work army styles and try new tricks. The easiest way is to work military tones in your favourite anti-fit silhouettes. As for the boys: Try using camouflage prints in relaxed sporty tees or jackets with army details, layered with a white shirt for a preppy twist on the trend.

All in the details
Find cool fighter/military/army/air-force themed accessories like the dog-tags and finger rings to add aesthetic details to your look. Camouflage prints are always a fool-proof way to rock the trend. But the one army all-star you need is a pair of trusty combat boots. They look rad and are the ultimate military style staple.
