While looking for the best of 2015 in red carpet, runway and street style, we’ve seen a few faces that deserve a special mention for their creativity and personal style. You’ve seen many of these stunning ladies in our blogs throughout the year. Today, we’re taking you through 9 beautiful women from the Indian entertainment industry with their respective stand-out styles.
The Queen Of Ease: Kalki Koechlin
It’s tough being a star in the spotlight, but Kalki Koechlin doesn’t bat an eyelid. We’ve seen her work some serious A-list red carpet looks, but she features in our list for her super chill personal style. Juggling among red carpets, movies and theatre, Kalki has proven that being comfortable and dressing for her mood of the day never fails! BandraRoad loves you, Kalki!

The Goddesses: Sandhya Mridul & Anushka Manchanda
Hang out with Sandhya Mridul and Anushka Manchanda and you’re instantly taken over by their electric personalities. Representing different ends of the spectrum, we watched their personal style evolve through the promotions of their hit film, Angry Indian Goddesses. Mridul’s style seems to be more organic with a Japanese Mori girl vibe (read more about the Mori girl style here), while Anushka Manchanda is a fashion chameleon that shifts from a rocker chick to a red carpet siren. We’ll have them both!

The Traveler: Priyanka Bose
She’s an actress, a mother, and an all-around style star. The thing that sets Priyanka Bose apart from the rest is her sharp sense of humour. She’s been travelling a lot on tour with Nirbhaya and we’ve been noting down her stark style choices. From bold colours to dramatic silhouettes, Bose’s style is fun, lady-like with an edge and reflects a slice of her own fabulous self!

The Super Cool: Adhuna Akhtar
She is by far the coolest chick to hang with at a party or backstage at fashion shows. A true rockstar at heart, Adhuna Akhtar‘s style in 2015 has particularly stood out for us because of a subtle change in direction. She’s opted for long tailored lines in her looks. We love that she supports younger designers and adds her own personality to their creations. Check it out!

The Rock Fairy: Monica Dogra
Monica Dogra is all heart. She’s had a meteoric year with collaborations, her live gigs and red carpet appearances. Through it all, Monica stepped out in her trademark do-what-you-gotta-do attitude and her tribal-meets-street style. On social media, she proclaimed her undying love for bindis and she proudly wears them while performing on stage.

In The Spotlight: Sayani Gupta
You have seen her in films like Margarita With A Straw and Parched, and a few cool ad campaigns. We noticed Sayani Gupta at red carpet events and marked her on our style radar. Her bob and piercing eyes are her strong points, but what we really love is the way she dresses her petite frame. Sayani is someone we’re keeping an eye on in 2016.

Anushka Menon
She’s one of the country’s most admired photographers and a DJ! Being behind the lens, we seldom get to see Anushka Menon, but when we do, she gives us a dose of her dope style. Remember her badass outfits from Burning Man? We hope to see a lot more of Anushka’s glam rock style in 2016!

Girl on Fire: Nidhi Sunil
The Indian fashion industry is already a fan of this sultry model. Nidhi Sunil made her film debut with Kaash in 2015. Her striking face and her sensual charm hooks you from the moment you meet her. Being a fashion model, Nidhi knows how to work a range of looks. From a red-hot red carpet look to street strong shoots, Nidhi is starting to show her range. We look forward to more from her in 2016.
