Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor have been all over the place promoting Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. And in a recent interview, Sonam was asked –
You’ve said in an interview that all men who love their mothers make great husbands. Salman Khan loves his mother…
Sonam: And he’ll make a great husband.
But Salman didn’t seem to agree. He immediately said:
I doubt it, Sonam. I’ll be the worst husband is why I’m not married. Because I know whoever’s going to be with me is going to be unhappy. When I know that person is going to be unhappy, then why should I be with someone and put her through this torture of being married. I’d be a good father!
Is it just me or is that really sad to hear Salman think this lowly of himself? 🙁
He also spoke about his stand against onscreen kissing:
I’m very uncomfortable. I’m not shy – I just don’t like it. I just don’t think there’s a need to kiss on screen. Jiss din need hogi, kar lunga.
And did you know he wrote to Sanjay Dutt?
I just wrote a letter recently to Sanjay Dutt. I started out with pen and paper, but my handwriting kept getting worse. So I gave it to Sonakshi Sinha and I dictated and she wrote. But that letter is only for Sanjay Dutt. It’s only for him, reminding him of all the good stuff and memories.
