Salman Khan will soon be seen on Comedy Nights With Kapil with Sonam Kapoor to promote his upcoming Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and looks like he was in a… erm… mood. When they were on the sets of the show, Salman made a super catty comment (for no good reason, might I add!) about Katrina Kaif.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Comedy Nights was in the Diwali mode and Salman noticed a packet of crackers with Kat’s face on it. If sources are to be believed, Salman wasn’t impressed.
Salman bhai was in a mischievous mood. He gave wise-cracking answers throughout. But the high point was in a skit we did on Diwali. Salman bhai noticed that a packet of crackers had Katrina’s picture on it. We didn’t know when his eyes spotted it. Salman stared at it and then guffawed to Kapil, ‘What purpose does it serve you to have her picture around? She is of no use to you.’ And then without a thought he added, ‘She was of no use to me also.’
Kapil and Salman laughed post this comment apparently.
Erm.
Well, I’m told they might not keep this chunk in the final edit of the show because bhai was there to promote PRDP and comments like these don’t align with the film’s vibe. Also, the channel might find itself in the middle of a controversy. Am I right?
