As the Jio MAMI (Mumbai Film Festival) 2015 continues, we’re seeing celebrities attend in all their various avatars. We’ve seen red carpet ready, after party chic, and now we have a movie screening classy. Ami Patel styled Kangana Ranaut in top-to-toe Burberry, including the handbag. Her round-rimmed glasses are, of course, Dior. These Dior sunnies, though, they’re a celebrity favorite. Remember when Parineeti Chopra was obsessed with them too?
Getting back to Kangana, her top is a sheer one. It’s pretty see-through, in fact… but just because you’re wearing a sheer top, doesn’t mean it’s party time! Your sheer top can go from night-time to day-time just as easily. While I would pair it with leather leggings and fold up my sleeves for the night, we can change it up for the day.
Rule number one: wear a nude bandeau, corset, or bra inside, making sure it doesn’t show off too much of your business. If ya’ know what I mean? Rule number two: tuck it into a formal skirt or trousers. You probably want to keep your skirt closer to knee-length. Then, all you have to do is add your everyday tote and a cool pair of sunnies to the mix and you’re ready to get down to work!
