A few weeks ago I took a work-detox break to Goa with my peeps and explored a new property in Panjim called Bay 15. And it was just delightful! One of those rare times when the place is even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures on the website may lead you to believe! Take a look for yourself and you’ll see exactly what I mean…

Personally, one of the things I enjoyed most was the tranquility of sitting by the bay and doing absolutely NOTHING. (Everybody needs one of those holidays right?!) Recharge your personal batteries and leave your phone somewhere you can’t see or hear it for 48 hours. (Yes, it can be done. Not by me but it can be! :P)
And you have to give it to them, for a sprawling property of this kind, they really take customer service super seriously. The guy you want to befriend by the way is Sumit, possibly the happiest, most attentive server in the world!
I’m not your typical foodie, but even I was in a food coma after 6 courses of custom made salads, inventive soups, fresh seafood, grilled meats, and various selections from the Goan, Indian and Mediterranean menus.

FYI, Bay 15 is Mr. Ashish Vohra’s baby (of Justa Hotels & Resorts) and given the space, their forte is weddings and events with dedicated chefs for a variety of cuisines. Just in case you’re looking for a new wedding/party venue 🙂
