Day 2 of Bigg Boss 9 (that I live-tweeted too) wasn’t half as dull as Day 1 (read Day 1’s recap here). The contestants had their first luxury budget task and it was, for most parts, gross. Also, I feel like if Bigg Boss had its own Bollywood theme song, it would be this one:
P.S: Did anyone else notice how the snoring is suddenly not an issue anymore?
Here are 6 weird things that happened in tonight’s episode:
1. The Ex Factor
Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera were a couple two years ago. I feel it’s not natural to hold a grudge for two years after your break up. Roopal seems to agree with me, except, all she ever talks about is Ankit and how she’s going to be the bigger person by not retaliating to him. Don’t get me wrong – I still think Ankit is a douche. I just don’t understand Roopal’s stand on him yet.
In other news, Roopal and Prince Narula seem to be bonding. What’s cooking, guys?
Erm, Prince’s conversation starter is seemingly the fact that he was super violent in Chandigarh and had police cases against him. All kinds of people in the world, I guess.
2. Ankit Gera’s Neck Tattoo
Can we please take a moment to talk about this? WHAT IS THAT? There seems to be some sort of tattoo on Ankit’s neck!
3. The Gross Phobia Task
For the Luxury Budget this week, the inmates had to do tasks that revolved around a phobia each. And some of them were disgusting! Case in point: Roopal and Digangana had to stick their faces into a fat man’s belly button for three whole minutes. The phobia, you ask? Omphalophobia – fear of belly button.
Ew, Prince! Another fear was Phalacrophobia – fear of baldness. Rimi Sen and Suyyash Rai were expected to shave off their heads. Ya right. That was totally gonna happen, Bigg Boss! Who are they? Diandra Soares?
Suyyash was more than eager, but Rimi pooped his party. Uh-oh.
4. The Awkward Love Declaration
So Rochelle Rao narrated her love story to the entire house. But is it just me or was Keith Sequeira awfully quiet during her story? Also, random close-ups of Mandana Karimi were just plain awkward, considering their massage session in the house.
5. The Surprise Bitching
I thought Kishwer Merchant and Aman Verma were the strongest jodi so far. Also, because the both of them had the whole Gossip Girl vibe going on and really seemed to get along. However, in a surprising turn of events, Kishwer actually bitched about Aman tonight. Did not see that coming!
6. The Rimi Sen
My love for her is growing slowly but surely. She’s super funny and says the randomest things. I’m rooting for you, girl!
