Bigg Boss season is officially upon us and MissMalini.com is going to be your one-stop shop for all things #BB9! In a few hours, Salman Khan is going to enter our living rooms and lives with Bigg Boss 9 and life as we know it, is not going to be the same for the upcoming 3 months.
5 contestants – 2 couples and 1 hunk – entered the Bigg Boss 9 house last night and I spoke to all of them moments before they said goodbye to the real world.
Here’s your sneak peak!
1. Keith Sequeira
How cute is he, though? Keith Sequeira, an actor who was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar‘s Calendar Girls, is definitely going to provide some much-needed eye candy in the house of horrors. He said he’s been wanting to do this for a long time and his reason is quite interesting.
It’s a creepy lockdown and that really intrigues me. I’m going in for the experience.
3 things he’d like the audience to know about him through the show:
- My name seems quite “anglo” so I want to break the perception that I’m not desi enough. I’m a regular Delhi boy.
- I’m quite calm and collected, so I feel that’d be a strength.
- I’m not afraid to take a stand.
Again, look how cute!
Well, the man isn’t going in alone though. He has his girlfriend with him…
2. Rochelle Rao
Miss India 2012, IPL host, Khatron Ke Khiladi contestant, Life Mein Ek Baar girlie, Keith’s girlfriend and a regulation hottie – Rochelle Rao has got it all! She feels she’ll face some linguistic barriers in the house and off the top of her head, she feels wet toilets are going to be her biggest issue. Cute! When you ask her what her couple has that another couple on the show might not have, she says:
We’ve just started dating so we’re in a super exciting phase. There’s a lot of falling in love we still have to do.
3 things she’d like the audience to know about him through the show:
- That I’m not a beauty queen. I’m actually quite chill.
- I’m spiritually inclined.
- I’d like to use this platform to connect with a wider Hindi speaking audience.
But if you thought this was the only couple, you’re gravely mistaken.
3. Suyyash Rai
TV hottie Suyyash Rai never had any reservations entering the Bigg Boss house. He looks it as a challenge for himself and is going in with an open mind. He’s going in with his long time girlfriend Kishwer Merchant (no, they haven’t broken up!) and he said:
If it comes to the her and I in the end, I’m going to step back and let her win. She deserves it more!
3 things he’d like the audience to know about him through the show:
- That I respect woman a lot and if I ever a curse happens to slip out, they have to understand that it’s situational and natural. I don’t mean it.
- I have promised my friends and family to control my anger. I tend to get short tempered.
- I think our fans who love #SuKish (yup, it’s their couple hashtag) will be very happy to see us.
And now for the other half…
4. Kishwer Merchant
Kishwer Merchant has been in the industry for close to two decades now (remember her from Hip Hip Hurray) and she’s really excited about being on Bigg Boss with her boyfriend.
When you’re going in an unfamiliar territory, having someone you love by your side is obviously an ideal scenario.
3 things she’d like the audience to know about him through the show:
- I have a temper problem that I’m working on. I think that’s a side the fans would get to see.
- I am this bubbly. chirpy talkative person.
- I think #SuKish is going in strong and is going to come out stronger!

5. Prince Narula
Former Roadies Winner and currently seen on Splitsvilla is the hunk Prince Narula, who is looking at Bigg Boss 9 as a huge career boost. He feels he’s a performer and an observer of people – both qualities that’ll take him a long way in the show.
Double Trouble ki jagah Tripple Trouble bhi hota, toh I’d be on for it. I’m going in to have fun!
3 things he’d like the audience to know about him through the show:
- Don’t judge a person based on the reality show he is on. You don’t know the circumstances he’s in.
- I get very hungry and very pissed off if my hunger isn’t satisfied.
- Support me through the show, I won’t disappoint them.
The other contestants are Roopal Tyagi, Digangana Suryavanshi, Aman Verma, Rimi Sen, Yuvika Chaudhary, Vikas Bhalla, Mandana Karimi, Arvind Vegda and Ankit Gera. And the couples are not going to pair up together. Are you excited?
