Amaal Malik and Tiger Shroff dropped by our office recently and we had a great time with them. With their music video Chal Wahan Jaate Hain coming out, the two seemed to be in a great mood. They also answered your 21 Twitter Questions which you can watch right here.
Amaal, how did you come up with such a beautiful concept for Chal Wahan Jaate Hain? – Aayushi
Amaal: Haha, I was heartbroken because Bhushan sir told me to cancel my Saturday night party and make the song. So all the pain went in that song.
Do you think Tiger and Kriti Sanon did justice to your song in the music video? – Priyam
Amaal: Yes, I think Kriti and Tiger did justice to my song. Because the entire chemistry which I saw in Heropanti, it’s come back and it’s even better. So, that really helps a song to live because the lyrics are so deep and the tune is also very well put. So, if it’s not well portrayed, so it can just die.
Would you like to act in a sequel of Heropanti? – Akira
Tiger: That question has been asked to me before and I think we were very lucky with the success of the film. So, yeah, I wouldn’t mind revisiting that character and that story again.
What was it like when you first met Kriti? – Hannah
Tiger: I’m a very shy person, so we immediately kind of just clicked. She made me feel very comfortable around her – that’s what I really respect about her. We didn’t have any awkward moments between each other.
What do you like most about Kriti? – Ebru
Tiger: She’s very straight forward as a person. She doesn’t have any hidden agenda.
What’s your favourite instrument? – Sarika
Amaal: My favourite instrument is the guitar.
Will you do a song with Armaan Malik in future? – Raghav
Amaal: We did Naina and there are going to be more songs. I did a song for Hero. I usually work with Armaan if he’s working for the song. I don’t get emotional about my singers. If it works for the song, I’ll take anybody to sing.
Do you maintain a strict diet? -Sarika
Tiger: Really boring foods. Anything that doesn’t taste good, I eat it. Very plain, bland food, steamed fish and green vegetables. There’s a lot of protein and fibre in my diet.
How was it working with Shraddha Kapoor? – Aafreen
Tiger: So far, so good. We have just done a photoshoot, we have a song coming up and I’m a little nervous about that because she has had so much practice with ABCD2.
Which new generation actress would you like to work with? – Harshad
Tiger: Does Madhuri Dixit come in it? You know I’ve had a crush on Shraddha growing up, she was in my school and I could never tell her that. I’m looking forward to our film.
Did you study to be a composer? – Yashrat
Amaal: When I was 8 years old someone gifted me a piano and I used to break it so my mom enrolled me in a piano class. That’s when I started learning western classical music. Then I went to Trinity College in London and then they say you have to get into the industry by assisting people so I went on to assist a lot of people.
If you could play a superhero, who would you play? – Nema
Tiger: Well, I’m already playing a superhero, so watch out for that film. It releases next year July, hopefully. Yeah, but if I really want to play, then my dream role would be Spiderman. I want to be Spiderman someday.
If you weren’t an actor and if you weren’t a composer, what would you both be? – Amelia
Tiger: Some sort of an athlete. Growing up, I used to be very sporty.
Amaal: I would be a footballer.
What is your favourite Jackie Shroff moment in cinema? – Sunena
Tiger: There is a film my father did, called Parinda. I liked few scenes from that especially his introduction and the climax.
