Before I give you the low-down on how, let’s talk about what concealer you’re using, shall we? When it comes to spot correction and pigmentation, you want to opt for a concealer with full coverage that is just slightly darker or exactly the same color as your skin. Don’t use an illuminating concealer made for the under eyes or one made for highlighting because we aren’t trying to highlight our spots, are we?

On to the quick and easy process now, it’s all about the primer. I learned this trick at Esteé Lauder’s A/W collection launch and boy, am I sticking by it! So, take a primer or an amazing moisturizer, like Esteé Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum (suitable for dry, oily, and combination skin), and apply a coin-sized amount to your face and neck. Then, using a concealer brush, dab some more primer/moisturizer onto the spots you want to correct and let it sit for a couple of seconds.

Using the same concealer brush, mark an ‘x’ with concealer on the spot you want to cover (sorry, the x is not so clear in my picture). Then, with the same brush, dab-dab-dab the concealer till your spot is covered. Don’t dab too much as you don’t want the product to disappear, it’s okay if it shows a little bit because using a stippling brush or a loose foundation brush, go over your face with just a squeeze of tinted moisturizer or foundation as your spots are already covered and you don’t need much coverage.

The dot you see on my cheek is a beauty mark, so no… that isn’t pigmentation or a mark. Anyway, amazing skin, right?
