Let’s be honest, it’s just getting hotter day by day and that just means we need to bring out our spaghetti tops and denim shorts. Actually, cut that out, we need to invest in dresses – just like Deepika Padukone! As the brand ambassador for Axis Bank, Deepika attended the launch of their mobile app which got me (and the rest of the shutterbugs) clicking away. Dressed in a white dress from Shift by Nimish Shah, she looked fresh as a daisy!
We love that she left her hair and makeup simple, and just paired this dress with a pair of gold heels. Talk about shining brightly for the day! It might not be the most fashionable dress we’ve seen on her, but we have so many feels already:
1. It’s light and breezy
Perfect for this sticky, hot weather. Ain’t nobody got time to wear skinny jeans!
2. It has pockets
Shit just got real people! Knowing this dress has pockets just took my love from 0 – 100 in seconds! Who has time to carry that Hèrmes Kelly when there are pockets here!
3. It’s brunch appropriate
I can already see myself standing by a table full of macaroons and cupcakes and holding a mimosa. Can you?
P.S – Want to elevate this from day to night? Just take a belt and cinch it at the waist. Add some statement accessories and an over-sized clutch and you’re ready to “paaaaaarty” 😉
