A lot of expectations are riding on the shoulders of Suniel Shetty‘s daughter, Athiya Shetty at the moment. She is currently awaiting the release of her debut film, Hero along with her co-star and Aditya Pancholi‘s son, Sooraj Pancholi. And since both of them are star kids, they definitely are under pressure right now. In an interview to Indian Express, the young actress opened up and said:
Being a star kid is tough. You get the platform and the visibility but you also get criticised for the littlest of things. People pinpoint these things, criticise it deeply and rip you apart because you are a star kid. They feel you should know everything before coming into the industry… We have to work equally hard. We have to work harder at times because you have a father and mother at home who are actors and are very successful and you want to match up to their expectations and what people expect you to be.
I guess only time will tell if the Shetty girl will manage to live up to everyone’s expectations or not. All the best, Athiya! 🙂
