We know that we just gushed about how beautiful this model/actress is, but she definitely upped her beauty game at the New York premiere of Paper Towns. With her bold red lip and drool-worthy brows, she looked every inch of the supermodel that she is. What really took the cake though, was her undone hairstyle. At first, we thought that she was rocking a fierce faux bob, but it turns out that her hair was actually done up in a loose braid.
So, let’s get to how you can pull off this look. Start by spraying on a texturizing spray like Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray to damp hair and roughly dry it. Gather your locks at the nape of your neck and create a classic three-strand braid. Secure with a clear elastic. Don’t worry if pieces of your hair come loose – it will just add to the look. Next, pull out a few strands to frame your face. Use a curling wand to create loose waves. Finish off the look with a shine-enhancing hairspray.
For Cara’s smoldering eyes, pat on an earthy brown eye shadow such as Yves Saint Laurent Couture Mono Shadow in ’11 Exces’ on to your upper lid. Dot a tiny amount of gold shadow, like Yves Saint Laurent Couture Mono Shadow in ’12 Fastes’, on to the centre of your lid, to open up your eyes.
To imitate her crimson pout, apply two coats of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in ’55 Luminous Red’. Add a hint of blush and a coat of black mascara to complete the look.
